Effective the 2024 season, in order to better reflect who we are as a District, the Kelowna Cup will be known as the COYSA CUP.

U18 COYSA CUP (played in June) RULES - click here

U14-16 COYSA CUP RULES (played the weekend after Thanksgiving) - click HERE

We recognize that there may be conflicts for some of our coaches between this and the U11-12 Super-8 Soccerfest, and in those instances, another coach or parent will need to step up to help you. If no one is willing, please contact your Club for support. The top 4 teams in the U14-16 standings after the end of the regular season schedule will advance to the COYSA Cup.

In the U14-16 COYSA Cup, teams play two games on one day with kick-off times approximately 4 hours apart.

Click on the age group for the 2024 schedule:

     Boys U14 - Sunday, October 20

     Girls U14 - Saturday, October 19

     Boys U16 - Saturday, October 19

     Girls U16 - Sunday, October 20

NOTE on Standings:

The order in which the teams appear on the website standings is NOT necessarily the teams that will advance to the playoffs, nor the order of who finishes 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th.
Standings are determined:
Firstly at points (determined by the Win/Loss/Tie record).
If there's a tie, then it goes to the result of the head-to-head game. (head to head means previous scheduled game(s) between the two tied teams)
If still tied, then it goes to goal differential (max 5 goals per game).
If still tied, then it goes to goals for.
Please note our website program shows the actual goal differential of the game scores.

Teams need to bring and set up their net and corner flags.
Top 4 teams in each Division advance to the Playoffs.  Teams play two games in one day.

If there is a tie at the end of regulation time in the Semi-Final Games at either the U18 KELOWNA CUP or the U14-U16 KELOWNA CUP, the winner will be determined by kicks from the penalty spot as per FIFA guidelines.

If there is a tie at the end of regulation time in all Medal games at either the U18 KELOWNA CUP or the U14-U16 KELOWNA CUP, there shall be a five minute break followed by two EQUAL halves of extra time with no break between the halves and Golden Goal does not apply.  If the game is still tied after the extra time, then the winner will be determined by kicks from the penalty spot as per FIFA guidelines.
