Spectators for indoor

As we are all aware, things are changing and evolving on a daily basis. Here is the latest information we have for everyone.

We clarify and confirm, the below proof of vaccination requirement are not directives of BC Soccer, nor its directors, officers, staff or COYSA. This is an Order from the BC Government PHO to all persons including the soccer community.

Spectators born in 2009 or earlier will be required to present proof of vaccination. This includes a digital version or a paper copy of the BC Vaccine Passport and 1 piece of photo ID (youth 12 - 18 not required to show photo ID).  Checking this information is falling to the organization.

Players are NOT required to provide vaccination proof.

There is no longer a limit of one spectator per player.

Spectators cannot enter until 10 minutes before the start but players can may go in earlier.

As always, our volunteer organization wants to see the kids playing and are doing everything we can to make it happen.

As a reminder, during the registration process, everyone agreed/accepted the two items in italics:

  • I understand that everyone must follow any and all rules, procedures and guidelines put into place, including, but not limited to: mask mandate, spectators etc. This includes the facility, the various governments, COYSA and its governing bodies.
  • I understand the Cancellation Policy: No refunds after October 15, 2021

Sincerely,

Stuart Wright

Chair, COYSA (Central Okanagan Youth Soccer Association)
